Tonight will be the end of all the "angpows" and glorious food.

Cap Goh Meh symbolizes the end of Chinese New Year.

A long, long time ago, Cap Goh Meh was used for matchmaking.
Women would stick a paper with their name and birthdate on the oranges.
Then the Mandrin oranges would be thrown into rivers.
Men who picked up the oranges were supposed to marry the ladies.
Or so I've been told.

I believe now there are more spinsters(certain people) .

BECAUSE

NO ONE THROWS ORANGES ON CAP GOH MEH ANYMORE!
